Tourney to offer cash prizes, games to benefit business advocacy
The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce will host their 20th Northwest Louisiana Golf Classic on April 24th at Southern Trace Country Club.
This year’s tournament marks its 20th year. In celebration of this milestone, the Classic will feature new contests, prizes and giveaways.
“We’ve got some fun things lined up for this year’s tournament,” said Dr. Timothy Magner, president of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce. “Southern Trace is a fantastic partner for the golf classic, the course is in great shape and we’re truly delighted to be celebrating our 20th year with them.”
The tournament is a four person scramble where par is your partner. A buffet lunch will be served for tournament participants beginning at 11:30, and the first flight will begin with a shotgun start at 1:00 PM. There will be a Chamber Challenge, mulligan raffles and closest to pin contests. All participants will receive a 20th anniversary commemorative gift.
Proceeds from the four-man scramble go to support the Chamber’s business advocacy initiatives.
