SERVICE CORPS OF RETIRED EXECUTIVES (SCORE) COUNSELORS OF AMERICA SCORE Counselors are available through the Chamber and offer free and confidential business counseling on Thursdays at the Chamber Plaza, 400 Edwards Street. SCORE, a pro-am of the Small Business Administration, also presents a "Going Into Business" workshop every 90 days. Workshop participants receive information on preparing business plans and learn of available resources for start-up businesses. SCORE Counselors are retired business executives with expertise in the area of accounting, finance, law, service, retail, manufacturing and human resources. GREATER SHREVEPORT LEADERSHIP PROGRAM For more than 30 years, the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce has been identifying and preparing future leaders through the Greater Shreveport Leadership Program. Program participants meet monthly and travel as a group to various locations throughout the community to experience our areas rich history and to become better acquainted with entities and issues related to government affairs, education, economic development, transportation, communications, healthcare and welfare. Graduates of this tuition-based program assume active roles in the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and become involved in the development of initiatives that bring solutions to community challenges.
