RIBBON CUTTINGS, GRAND OPENINGS, GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONIES
The Chamber welcomes the opportunity to assist you with events celebrating your business opening, expansion relocation and anniversary. Our staff and volunteers are available weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to emcee your event and the Chamber will be happy to provide the ribbon and ceremonial size scissors. We will help spread the word about your event through news releases to area media, calendar postings on Chamber website and Diplomat Newsletter. There is no charge for this MEMBER ONLY service. SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year, the Chamber hosts many events to provide regional businesses an opportunity to network with other business professionals.
Regional Networking Receptions help you meet potential customers and further develop relationships with existing customers.
Breakfast of Champions is a seated membership meeting that includes a presentation from officials about current matters being addressed by the Chamber and the introduction of new members. Several new members will have the opportunity to make a 3-minute presentation about their business. This is a great meeting to become better acquainted with the work of the Chamber and to share information about the products and services that you offer. Contact Tracy Smith or Debra Wayt.
The Business Councils of the Chamber coordinate an annual business opportunity expo and several awards banquets and networking socials. REFERRALS, WEBSITE EXPOSURE AND MORE
Worldwide the Chamber of Commerce is viewed as a credible resource for business referrals. We refer Chamber Members only and we promote our membership through personal calls, visits, trade shows, publications and on the web at www.shreveportchamber.org. We receive over 3,000 calls per month from individuals seeking to do business in greater Shreveport and our website ranks high on the most visited sites list. Chamber Members with a website are provided with a free link from our site to theirs and members participating in our SHOP CHAMBER Member-to-Member Savings program receive additional exposure on our site and in printed publications.
