State Issues

We have completed our 2011 State Issues List. These issues were approved by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors during their April Board Meeting. They are based on the priorities of our membership. These issues will be monitored in Baton Rouge during the 2011 State Legislative Session.

2011 STATE ISSUES

The Legislative Policy Committee of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce will also take action on the following issues that have not yet had bills filed in but will be addressed in the 2011 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature:

Louisiana Severance Tax Incentive Program - OPPOSE any attempt to REPEAL
Angel Investor Tax Rebate Program - SUPPORT the RENEWAL
DDA Historic Tax Credit - SUPPORT the EXTENSION
