Annual Banquet

The Greater Shreveport Chamber’s Annual Meeting is one of our Premier events. Held each January, our new executive officers are installed for the Board of Directors and the annual Business Person of the Year Award is presented to a local business leader who has made significant contributions to the development of the community.

Athena Leadership Awards Luncheon

Each Year the Business Development Connection honors area individuals during the ATHENA Leadership Awards Luncheon. One individual is selected from among the honorees to receive this prestigious award.

40 Under Forty Annual Gala

Annual event held in conjunction with the chamber’s Young Professional Initiative. The evening banquet is held to honor 40 outstanding young professionals under the age of 40 for excelling in their profession.

Annual Chamber Golf Open

​The Greater Shreveport Chamber’s “Why the Hole Not?” Chamber Open has something for everyone at beautiful Querbes Park Golf Course!  Whether you consider yourself a golf pro looking to challenge your buddies or an occasional golfer looking for an entertaining day away from the office, you won’t want to miss this event! The “Why the Hole Not?” Chamber Open is a flight competition with multiple on-the-course challenges, numerous raffle items, cash prizes, and other countless ways to win.

J. Pat Beaird Industry of the Year Luncheon

This annual event, sponsored by the J. Pat Beaird Memorial Fund allows the chamber to bring nationally recognized speakers to the area and honor outstanding Industry & Small Businesses who demonstrate “Best Practices” of entrepreneurship, such as sound business planning, fiscal responsibility and innovation in operating their business. Nominations for the awards are accepted year round.

Minority Business Opportunity Awards

The Business Development Connection (BDC) of the Greater Shreveport Chamber recognizes outstanding minority individuals or businesses who are making a difference in our community at the Annual Minority Business Opportunity Awards Dinner.

SHOOT HAPPENS! - CLAY SHOOT

Do you enjoy the great outdoors? Particularly when combined with a little fun and friendly competition? If so, make plans to join us for our family-friendly clay shooting tournament held at the Shreveport Gun Club. Providing a fun, professional, and safe shoot on their covered 10-station sporting clays course.

Northern Exposure

Northern Exposure is the state’s largest annual, citizen-lobbying caravan. The purpose of Northern Exposure is to make sure north western, north central and north eastern Louisiana remain on the collective map of both lawmakers and the Governor.

What's Happening Breakfasts

The “What’s Happening” breakfast series bring together members of the community to learn about events, activities and trends throughout the Shreveport Bossier Area.

YPI Socials & Lunches

These events offer casual after hours networking and social opportunities for young professionals. They also provide an opportunity for members and guests to gather to hear speakers of interest to the community.
